I was snorkeling off West Maui, Hawaii, when I run into this beautiful honu (hawaiian name for Pacific Green Turtle). For half an hour, I was swimming alongside, into deeper and deeper water. During this time, he came up for air twice. Here, he takes a breath before diving back in the blue.

This beautiful Pacific green turtle enjoys the beauty treatment at a cleaning station off Maui, Hawaii. The turtles go there to meet the fishes, who get their meal by removing the parasites from the turtle’s skin. This turtle seems to kiss one of the the cleaner fishes: love at first sight!
